One of the UK’s most dynamic ConTech and PropTech businesses, clixifix® is excited to announce that it is one of the first accredited partners of the New Homes Quality Board (NHQB).
As a supply partner, clixifix® will be working closely with the NHQB to bring its experience within defect software and construction to developers who are registered with the not-for-profit body.
It’s award-winning defect management software offers a powerful SaaS platform to enhance workflows, gives residents, subcontractors and customer care teams access to secure configurable portals and drives efficiency.
clixifix® provides powerful reporting tools to generate business insights, helping to improve financial performance and enhance reputations.
James Farrell, CEO and co-founder of clixifix®, said:
“To be the first accredited supply partner to the NHQB is a proud moment for the company.
We are excited to be working with the NHQB and see this as a long-term partnership that can help both organisations progress, develop and meet the clear need for the industry to improve its build quality, customer service and wider relationship with homeowners.”
Andrew Preece, Industry Engagement Manager, NHQB said:
“We are proud to be teaming up with clixifix® as this collaboration will provide vital support to our registered developers, specifically to those which have not implemented their own aftersales service yet.
NHQB is dedicated to making sure developers of all size can join and apply our code, and so this partnership represents a significant milestone in the industry’s journey to better homes and increased consumer service.”
Find out more about the NHQB
The NHQB is an independent, not-for-profit body which was established to develop a new framework to oversee reforms in the build quality of new homes and customer service provided by developers. Its objectives are to deliver a consistently high standard of new home quality and service, and to strengthen complaints handling and redress for purchasers of new build homes where these high standards are not achieved.
An interim board was established in May 2020 to oversee preliminary plans, with representatives from across the sector including; consumer bodies, developers, providers of new home warranties, the lending industry, Homes England and independent members to tackle these issues. In January 2021, the NHQB was formed and the board members were appointed.
Since then, significant progress has been made on proposals to put in place a New Homes Ombudsman Service and develop a new industry code of practice – the New Homes Quality Code.
