4. Procurement

This stage involves the purchase and procurement of any required materials or equipment as previously specified during the design stage, as well as hiring the required workforce.

By the end of the procurement stage, all elements required to begin construction will have been obtained, purchased or hired.

5. Construction

The construction stage begins with a pre-construction meeting to address site access, quality control, storage and working hours amongst other elements.

Once the processes and plans are communicated to the team and workforce, construction can begin. However, even with extensive planning, issues can arise.

6. Post-Construction
